Tina7/12/2014 I have NEVER filled out a Yelp review before, but Beth and Stacey are incredible and Dog Gone Walking is so great that I had to write one for them! I adopted a beagle at the end of March and needed dog walking services and boarding services when I traveled for work. Stacey helped me set up the monthly dog walking services, was always able to accommodate all of my last-minute boarding requests, and helped with anything else I needed.
My dog was always happy with her walks and was always happy when she had to be boarded. There was never a time when I picked up my dog that she wasn't a little upset to be leaving Beth's house. Beth also texts pictures of your dog every day when you have them boarded, so you know your dog is always in good care. As for the walking, the couple times that I took a sick day and was home when the daily dog walker came, Tina was super excited to see them and was always happy with the way she was treated.
Their website is also great because you can schedule things yourself, make requests and add comments, and sign up to receive information about your dog's walks.– Ben
Tucker4/14/2014 When we got our new puppy, my husband and I were going to try and come home once a day, but of course in the DC area, that can be tricky and we knew we needed help. I was very nervous about having someone we didn't know very well in our apartment and taking care of our puppy, but Dog Gone Walking and Pet Care walkers are wonderful. We met our specific walker before he started. They have a puppy package where they come twice a day which is exactly what we needed and I have total peace of mind while I am at work that our puppy is in wonderful hands with our walker. Every night we get a journal of what happened along with pictures. I am a bit of neurotic dog Mom and they have answered my every need and then some. When our regular walker is out of town, we know beforehand that another walker will be in. I can't say enough good things about our specific dog walker and the other walkers we have had. In fact, I think sometimes our puppy is disappointed if we are off work and his dog walker doesn't come! Thank you to Beth and DGW!

Maverick11/18/2012 My friend recommended Beth to us and we couldn't be happier with her service. Our dog can be difficult and sometimes gets anxiety around strangers but that proved to be no problem for Beth. Since day one she has used great techniques to help our dog get over his fears and he loves her! What is great about Dog Gone Walking & Pet Care LLC. is that I truly feel that I'm leaving my dog with walkers that care about my animals well-being, I am not just another money paying client, rather my dog gets the personal attention that he needs. You can clearly see the passion Beth has for animal's right when you meet her. She is super reliable and communicates with you about your pet which is really important to us. I would highly recommend using her services, you won't be disappointed.
